Happs

Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully before using Happs.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Happs website and services operated from Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Happs provides event discovery and digital ticketing technology.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Happs, creating an account, or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account and purchase tickets. If you use Happs on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

4. User accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of information associated with your account and for activity that occurs under your login credentials.

5. Google authentication

Happs may allow sign-in using Google. If you use Google authentication, you authorize us to receive limited account information from Google as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of Google remains subject to Google’s terms and policies.

6. Account security

Keep your password and account access secure. Notify us promptly at support@happs.in if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

7. Event listings

Event listings may include titles, descriptions, dates, venues, pricing, ticket types, images, and terms provided by organizers or platform administrators. Listing an event does not guarantee availability, attendance quality, or that the event will proceed as described.

You should review event-specific information before purchasing. Happs is not necessarily the organizer of every event listed on the platform.

8. Event organizers

Many events are created and managed by third-party organizers. Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of their event information, on-ground delivery, entry policies (unless otherwise stated), and compliance with applicable laws.

9. Ticket purchases

When you purchase a ticket, you enter a transaction for that event’s selected ticket type and quantity, subject to availability, pricing shown at checkout, and any event-specific terms.

10. Ticket pricing

Prices are displayed on the event page and during checkout. Taxes, fees, or currency presentation may apply as shown. Happs may update displayed prices for future bookings; confirmed bookings generally remain at the price paid unless a correction for obvious error is required.

11. Payment processing

Payments may be processed by third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay. By completing checkout, you authorize the applicable charges. Payment methods and verification steps are determined by the payment provider.

12. Booking confirmation

A booking is typically confirmed after successful payment verification (or successful completion of a free registration flow, where offered). Confirmation is reflected in your Happs account and may also be communicated electronically.

13. Digital tickets

Tickets issued on Happs are digital. You can access them through your account. You are responsible for presenting a valid ticket for entry as instructed for the event.

14. QR codes

Digital tickets may include a QR code or similar identifier used for validation and check-in. Do not share your ticket QR in a way that allows unauthorized entry. Happs and organizers may invalidate tickets that appear duplicated or fraudulently used.

15. Event entry

Entry is subject to organizer and venue rules, age restrictions, capacity limits, and valid ticket status. Happs does not control venue security or door policies unless expressly stated for a specific event.

16. User responsibilities

You agree to use Happs lawfully and respectfully, provide accurate information, and honor booking and event rules that apply to you.

17. Prohibited activities

You must not:

  • Use the platform for fraud, abuse, or unauthorized commercial scraping
  • Attempt to bypass security, payments, or access controls
  • Resell tickets in violation of event or platform rules
  • Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content
  • Interfere with other users’ enjoyment of the service

18. Event changes

Organizers may update event details such as lineup, schedule, or description. Material changes should be communicated where reasonably possible. Review the event page for the latest information.

19. Event postponement

If an event is postponed, existing tickets may remain valid for the new date or may become eligible for a refund, depending on the event’s stated policy and communications from the organizer or Happs.

20. Event cancellation

If an event is cancelled, eligible ticket holders may receive a refund according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy and any event-specific terms.

21. Refunds

Refund eligibility is described in our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Event pages may include additional refund terms that apply to that event.

22. Organizer responsibilities

Organizers are responsible for lawful event operations, accurate listings, honoring valid tickets, and handling attendee communications related to the event experience, except where Happs expressly manages a specific process.

23. Venue responsibilities

Venues remain responsible for premises safety, licensing, and house rules. Happs listing a venue does not mean Happs operates that venue.

24. Intellectual property

Happs branding, interface, and platform content (excluding organizer-provided event content and third-party materials) are owned by Happs or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission.

25. User-generated content

If you submit content (such as profile information or messages), you grant Happs a limited license to use it as needed to operate the service. You confirm you have the rights to provide that content.

26. Third-party services

Happs integrates third-party services (for example Google authentication, Razorpay payments, maps, or hosting providers). Those services have their own terms, and Happs is not responsible for their independent failures beyond our reasonable control.

27. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Happs is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the platform or attendance at events organized by third parties. Happs provides technology and facilitation; event quality and on-ground delivery are primarily the responsibility of organizers and venues.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

28. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Happs and its operators from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of others’ rights, to the extent permitted by law.

29. Account suspension or termination

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud or abuse, or created risk for other users or the platform.

30. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

31. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in Karnataka, India, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply.
